Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya meets with head of European Commission

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. At their previous meeting on 28 May, von der Leyen announced to Tsikhanouskaya the approval of the EU Aid Plan for a democratic Belarus for 3 billion euros. At this meeting, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya spoke about the plans of the democratic forces for the near future and the transit period. After the personal meeting with the Belarusian opposition leader, the head of the European Commission announced comprehensive support of Belarusians and the allocation of additional 30 million euros to help the civil society.
