In Lithuania and Poland, rallies begin on border with Belarus

About 60 people gathered at the Medininkai checkpoint on the Belarus-Lithuania border to take part in a multi-day picket. The protesters demand that the EU speed up the adoption of sanctions against Lukashenko and that the Belarusian authorities release political prisoners and open land borders for the free movement of citizens. A similar rally began in Bobrowniki on the Poland-Belarus border.
