EU sanctions making impact

As a result of the sanctions imposed by the EU, French company TotalEnergies, one of the largest oil companies in the world, turned to the commodity pricing agency S&P Global Platts asking to ensure that oil consignments in its trading system did not belong to the companies of the Russian businessman Mikhail Gutseriev, who is a subject to personal sanctions. Gutseriev is often called one of Lukashenko’s “moneybags”.

Gutseriev decided to immediately leave the board of directors of the oil company RussNeft.
