Cyber Partisans and Kastus Kalinouski Regiment announce decision to unite
The Kastus Kalinouski Regiment and hacktivist group Cyber Partisans are planning to unite and cooperate closer, announced Vadzim Kabanchuk, the Regiment’s deputy commander, at a press conference in Kyiv.
“We announce the merging of the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment and Cyber Partisans into one unified structure within the Belarusian liberation movement. This is done to ensure maximum efficiency and coordination of joint actions,” said Vadzim Kabanchuk.
Yuliana Shemetovets, a spokeswoman for Cyber Partisans, noted that cooperation with the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment, founded in March 2022 as a battalion, had started at an early stage of the Ukraine war.
“Cyber Partisans lend help to many initiatives, not only Belarusian ones, but the most extensive cooperation has been with the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment,” said Yuliana Shemetovets. “This cooperation has been taken to a new level, so we will combine our resources for more effective coordination. As of today, I, as a representative of Cyber Partisans, will join the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment headquarters.”
